Sagittaria is a very common and affordable aquarium plant, ideal for growing novice aquarists. Home of arrowhead is North America and Colombia. And recently, found in Colombia and the UK.
In nature, it grows along the shores of the sea, loves salt water, but thrives in freshwater ponds and rivers. Sagittaria can grow completely submerged in water or partially. Roots are well developed, knotty and short.
