Rotala indica is a species of flowering plants in the family Verbania, known under the General name of the Indian toothbrush. He is a native of South-East Asia. This water plant is best known as a popular aquarium plant and as a weed of rice fields.

Indian rotala (Rotala indica), a small but quite picturesque water plant, which successfully survives in the aquarium. In good conditions it forms attractive thickets of sitting on thin stems small (length of about 1 cm width 0.3 cm) brownish-reddish leaves. This spot of color enlivens the interior of the tank, gives it more contrast, diversity and individuality.
