Pogostemon stellatus oktopus (Pogostemon stellatus sp. "Octopus") is a beautiful aquarium plant, very original, with long narrow leaves. "Octopus" is translated as "Octopus" and, indeed, under the influence of the water flow in the aquarium the leaves move like the tentacles of an octopus.

Pogostemon octopus has a long, erect stalk, which is located cross-shaped thin leaves up to a width of 0.6 cm and a length of 9 cm Under the action of underwater currents the leaves move like the tentacles of an octopus. This feature has become fundamental when choosing the name of the plant (in Latin the term "octopus" means "octopus").

The octopus reaches a height of 60 cm due to the impressive size it is planted close to the back wall of the aquarium. The plant has a life-affirming deep-green color. Its soft, delicate greens creates dense shade and is a favorite treat for herbivorous fish.
