Hige PI Range pH Test Kit for measuring pH in fresh and sea water<br />
<br />
The kit to measure the pH in fresh and sea water in the range of 7.4 to 8.8. For health and proper development of fish keep in an aquarium they need a pH level. Test the pH level should be weekly, since natural substances &#40;feces and uneaten food&#41; can cause its changes.<br />
<br />
Application: 1. Pour into a test tube 5 ml of water &#40;mark&#41; 2. Add 5 drops of High Range PH in a test tube with water holding the reagent bottle vertically. 3. Close the tube cap, and shake. 4. Compare the water in the test tube with the color table: fresh &#40;freshwater&#41; or for salt &#40;saltwater&#41;. Consider the results of the test in good light. Rinse the swab after use. <br />

Recommended pH level: the pH level of 7.5 is ideal for most live-bearing fish such as swordtails and Polynesia. This pH is also suitable for goldfish. For African cichlids pH level should be to 8.2. For marine fish and invertebrates: to 8.2-8.4. To raise or lower the pH level in the aquarium with fresh water, use API pH UP or pH DOWN®. API PROPER pH 7.5 adjust to the desired pH level 7.5 a PROPER pH of 8.2 can be used for African cichlids or for aquariums with salt water. <br />
