Method of application: <br />
For the determination of carbonate hardness - type in a test tube 5ml. tank water and start adding one drop of reagent from the vial KN. The color of the water turns blue, continue to drip the reagent until the colour of the water changed to yellow. the number of drops is determined by the stiffness. &#40;see the instructions for table&#41;. <br />

When determining the total hardness in a test tube of aquarium water is added to the reagent from the vial of GH, and the color of water will change from orange to green. <br />
